Tax and Tip

In this unit, we explore what is tax and tips by applying students' prior knowledge of the proportional relationship. Students used multiple ways to present their thinking, including drawing diagrams and tables. At last, students collaboratively presented their group strategy.

Scaling Drawing

In this unit, students learned proportional relationships by cooking rice and drawing scaling self-portraits.

Renovation Project

In this unit, students learn geometry including measuring parameters and areas of complex figures, and they need to roleplay as remodeling companies to win client and renovation contracts by showing their expertise in making renovation budgets and plans.
